Manifest Season 4 Episode 13 Recap
Within the first few scenes, we learn that Cal found none other than Fiona, who’s been inside the Glow with Captain Daly, underneath the barn floor at the orchard. She’s in a trance state and trapped inside a permanent Calling.
When Olive visits Ben in D.C. to ask for advice, he tells her about Daly’s return before he gets his very own Calling and is whisked away by guards. Unsurprisingly, Zimmer is not convinced of Ben’s importance, so she denies his request to leave the detention center and help solve his own Calling.
The Calling leads Mick and Jared to a boat harbor and Eagan’s estranged father. And when Vance and Ben question Eagan, he’s reluctant to help and shows little care about his parent’s fate.
What’s the second plague Daly brought back?
Meanwhile, Daly appears to have brought back much more than locusts from his time inside the Glow. When two detention center guards start getting him ready to move to a different facility, they notice the pilot’s body is covered in boils. One guard touches him, gets instantly afflicted, and dies shortly after.
Director Zimmer orders Saanvi to figure out what caused the guard’s untimely demise but refuses to tell her how the man was infected in the first place. So far, Daly’s brought locusts and a plague. I wonder what’s next?
At the Stone House, Cal tries his new power of seeing other passengers’ Callings, hoping to tap into Fiona’s. Instead, he finds a giant olive tree growing from Fiona’s seat and inside the cockpit. Even stranger, he brings back a couple of olives into the real world.
The two siblings don’t have much time to look into the olive trees because Fiona is struggling to breathe. They can’t call 911 because that would lead to their guest being placed in a detention center like the rest of the 828-ers.
How does Cal communicate with Saanvi?
At Olive’s suggestion, Cal uses his sapphire scar superpowers to project a Calling into Saanvi’s mind, and she gives him remote instructions on how to perform surgery on Fiona’s collapsed lung.
Thinking Eagan’s mom is in danger, Mick and Jared head to the Tehrani home. They find the safe’s been emptied, and Mrs. Tehrani had tried staging a burglary after stealing the money.
It takes a few frustrating conversations with a very stubborn Eagan (and a few of Ben’s Callings), but he eventually figures out why his mom stole the family’s retirement funds from the safe. Since being detained, Eagan’s been running a con with the help of a woman named Cheryl.
Cheryl would convince passengers loved ones she could help get them free from the detention center in exchange for a lot of money. It seems Eagan was wrong in thinking that his parents didn’t love him.
His mom fell for the con and even risked her whole retirement for him. The whole ordeal does lead to Eeagan’s reconciliation with his parents.
After arresting Cheryl, Jared and Mick go for a jog, and he kisses her. She pulls away because she’s still not ready to move on from the loss of her husband (Still being able to chat with the glowing version of him probably isn’t helping either).

Manifest Season 4 Episode 13 Ending Explained
After another guard dies from Daly’s plague, Saanvi confronts Zimmer and demands the director lets her see and examine the captain. Unphased, Zimmer quickly puts Saanvi in her place and refuses to cooperate with her.
Not one to back off, Saanvi breaks into Daly’s room and gets his permission to take a blood sample. The poor man is tied up, and even his mouth is completely gagged.
How is Angelina manipulating Eden?
Everyone’s the favorite deluded chosen one, Angelina, just found a new way to communicate with Eden and get inside the Stone home by projecting herself as Olive inside the child’s mind.
After seeing the olive tree and learning of Daly and Fiona’s return, she concludes they are the two witnesses here to announce the end time. She believes it’s her duty to kill the witnesses and bring forth the apocalypse. So she manipulates a young Eden into taking out Fiona’s breathing straw.
Convinced she’s killed one of the witnesses, Angelina then drives out of the homeless camp she’s been hiding in and heads for New York City.
