Summary
Another rock-solid episode of Never Have I Ever as Maitreyi Ramakrishnan runs as Devi continues to be as strong as ever.
We recap the Netflix series Never Have I Ever Season 4 Episode 3, “…liked a bad boy,” which contains spoilers.
Things continue to head south for Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) in her senior year on Never Have I Ever, as her attraction to Ethan (Michael Cimino) causes friction between her and her best friend, Eleanor (Ramona Young). While they fight over Ethan, her mom struggles to get the house fixed after Andres leaves it a wreck.

Devi dreams about Ethan, and things get hot and heavy between the two until he mentions her being a bad girl for backstabbing her best friend, Eleanor, to sleep with him when she wakes up. Paxton has returned from college to be the swim coach, and Devi questions why he came back, but he says college isn’t for everyone.
Of course, Eleanor has the hots for Ethan, so Devi is doing everything she can to get her to push to ask him out. Ethan strolls over and invites the ladies to a party at his house tonight.
Ethan puts his arm around Devi at the party, but she tries her best to stay as far away from him as possible out of respect for Eleanor.
Who does Ethan kiss at the party?
Devi is outside actively avoiding Ethan, but he finds her and asks why she is so distant. After trying to talk about Eleanor, Ethan tells Devi they should make out. Even after resisting, she kisses him, and Eleanor busts them. The two started fighting, and we found out that Ethan had kissed Eleanor, too, fifteen minutes ago by the fridge.
Pati hires someone to fix the steps inside the Vishwakumar household, but when the man arrives, it’s Andres, Margot’s father. Nalini is reluctant at first but agrees to let him do it.
Later, she comes home, and her entire steps and house has been taken down, infuriating her, but he tells her that they had termites and had to take it all down.
After ghosting her for a few days, Nalini heads down to hunt Andres on one of his job sites to find out why he hasn’t finished their steps. She confronts him, and he admits to ghosting her because of what Devi did to Margot.
He says things have been hard since Margot’s mom walked out on them. He apologizes and says he will fix the steps ASAP.
Who ends up with Ethan?
After promising Fabs that they would stay away from Ethan, Devi, and Eleanor go outside to watch him skateboard, leading to them arguing over him again. They both state their cases as to why one or the other should get him until someone accidentally trambles over Devi on his skateboard. Eleanor caves and tells Devi that she can have Ethan because she is looking for a distraction after Trent.

After finally patching things up with Eleanor, Devi heads to her car, where Ethan awaits her. He asks if she wants to hang out, but Devi says she wants to, as long as she doesn’t kiss her friends or any other girls, for that matter. He promises to chill out on the kissing stuff and plants a big kiss on her.
