The case against Skye O’Dwyer continues to build in this week’s episode of Deadloch. Dulcie and Redcliffe finally get to question Skye, who attempts to say she has an alibi, and the questioning leads to a huge fight between Dulcie and Cath.
Deadloch Season 1 Episode 6 Recap
Dulcie and Redcliffe are preparing to chat with Skye O’Dwyer in the interrogation room. It doesn’t go as planned, and when Skye is about to leave, Cath arrives to say, wouldn’t it be unbelievable if Skye was being questioned as the killer? Dulcie has a blank look on her face while Cath mentions Skye is coming home with her.
Abby arrives to talk to her boyfriend, James, about her passing out while testing the wood for arson. She wondered if the boat burnt down and the wood used as the crucifix was the same. Like always, James plays off what she is saying, only to try and use the evidence for his own gain.
Who breaks up in episode 6 of Deadloch?
Abby calls James to talk, and James mentions that she must pick up the slack for their upcoming wedding. However, Abby said she isn’t postponing the wedding. She is breaking up with him.
With Skye saying that she has an alibi, Dulcie is now on the hunt to try and figure out where the hole in her story is. As this is happening, the news breaks about the story of Vanessa talking about how she thinks that Skye O’Dwyer is the killer. This leads to Dulcie and Redcliffe heading to Skye’s house to sort things out.
What new evidence is found against Skye O’Dwyer?
As Dulcie and Redcliffe investigate a boat, they realize that it is a boat that was for sale. The duo head to speak to the boat owners and discover that Jimmy Cook had bought it. It didn’t make sense as he was dead, and they didn’t know where he would’ve gotten the money. The ladies checked their bank account, and the money had come in from Skye O’Dwyer and not Jimmy Cook.
Who knew about Skye coming back the night of her father’s disappearance?
Dulice and Cath sit down to talk about the state of their relationship. They are fighting about everything when Dulcie spots a photo on her desk and asks Cath when it was taken. It was June 10, 2017, the same night that Sam died, meaning that Cath knew that Skye O’Dwyer returned the night of her dad’s disappearance.
Deadloch Season 1 Episode 6 Ending Explained
The Mayor calls Dulcie because Vanessa has gone off the deep end and ruined her festival. When Dulcie arrives, she gets between Vanessa and the Mayor leading to them wrestling in the water. As that happens, multiple dead bodies appear from the water, leaving a shocked look on Dulcie’s face with most of the city looking on.
