Will there be a Season 2 of the Netflix reality series Hack My Home – renewed or canceled status

We discuss whether there will be a Season 2 of the Netflix reality series Hack My Home and its renewed or canceled status.

Take four experts and present them with the problematic homes of normal families that are struggling with their environment and, hey presto, Reality TV.

Hack My Home is a home makeover show that focuses on families that are having trouble utilizing the available space that they have in their family dwelling.

The show is filled with surprisingly innovative ways to make family life easier, and the four experts each have different areas of expertise that transform the abodes of the lucky participants in the show.

It seems that since the pandemic, many people have found that they are spending a lot more time at home, especially in work-related situations, and of course, that means finding areas to work in can be problematic.

I immediately think of that clip of Professor Robert Kelly being interviewed on the subject of North Korea by the BBC, when he was interrupted by his wife and kids, who all parade into the shot on the live broadcast.

The viral clip is still funny:

However, you can find a full review of Hack My Home right here at Ready Steady Cut and find out what we thought of it, but this compact and boujee article is more interested in the future of the show, so here’s what we know so far about Hack My Home Season 2.

Will there be a Season 2 of the Netflix reality series Hack My Home – renewed or canceled status

There is currently no official confirmation of a second season of Hack My Home. It is possibly just too early for Netflix to confidently green-light a second season of the show, as they will be waiting for all the available data to arrive before committing to another run.

However, makeover fans, don’t despair just yet, as it’s early days, and there has been quite a lot of positive feedback attached to the show, and that is always a good sign.

If the watch time is good, there is a chance that the show will be renewed.

It might also be worth stating that the writer’s strike is still ongoing in the US, and lots of TV shows and movies have been placed into production hell because of it.

This means that production companies may lean more towards reality TV shows that are unscripted to keep shows being made while the strike continues.

The strike is affecting films and TV productions, but reality programs such as this one are not, so there could be a push for reality shows to be renewed in an effort to keep new content being provided for people like you and me who are paying every month for a streaming platform.

That is just speculation, but if the strike continues, expect a whole lot of reality and news programs to fill out the huge gaps in scheduling that you are going to start noticing soon.
