Prime Video’s teen drama The Summer I Turned Pretty is near its season two finale with “Love Fest.” In this installment, the teens decide to throw a house party to celebrate the good times they shared together at Susannah’s beach house.
It’s another cliched and repetitive episode, where every single intimate moment seems to be interrupted at the very last second, and all the obvious romances are finally revealed, no surprises there. Here’s what happened in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2, Episode 6:
- The teens are told that the beach house is officially sold. Belly decides to throw a party to say goodbye.
- Jeremiah and Belly flirt in the pool and nearly kiss.
- The brothers and Belly go on a supply run. Belly manages to buy alcohol even though she’s underage. They buy snacks and decorations. Belly and Conrad share an intimate moment, which Jeremiah interrupts.
- Cam and Skye bond, talking about their future. Steven and Taylor bond by the pool, discussing playlists and music.
- Jeremiah looks through old items and forgotten memories, worried that he’ll forget about his mother over time.
- At the party, Belly falls into Jeremiah’s arms. They flirt with one another. Milo crashes the party looking for Taylor. Skye and Cam try to warn Taylor, but they can’t find her. Cam and Skye kiss by the pool.
- Steven and Taylor have a dance-off, which ends in an intimate moment. Steven says that he has strong feelings for Taylor. They are about to kiss, but Milo stops them.
- Jeremiah and Belly nearly kiss again but hear the fight kicking off. The teens try to stop the fight. Taylor stands between them both. Taylor and Steven kiss afterward.
- Skye tells the group that Julia has changed the contract. They can rent the beach house for one week every summer. Jeremiah and Belly celebrate, but Conrad is against the idea. Jeremiah and Conrad argue about the house and the love triangle.
- Belly gets rather drunk and argues with Conrad on the beach. She phones her mom to come and fix things.
