Keep this page handy as we celebrate and list what is deemed to be the Best and Highest Rated Movies on Netflix in 2023.

Netflix has produced over 600 original films since they officially released content in 2015. Each year has seen a progressively higher number, with 2022 making over 172 original feature films. Throughout 2023, we will use Rotten Tomatoes scores to share with you the best and highest-rated Netflix Original movies of 2023 that you can stream right now.

That said, Netflix only released nine films in the month of January 2023, highlighted by the comedy You People starring Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy and Dog Gone starring Rob Lowe. However, most of them either not have a score generated on Rotten Tomatoes or the ratings on the film have been bad. Therefore, I will be adding to this list on a monthly basis, and below, I share the two films that have caught the attention of their viewers.
