We move fourteen years into the future in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, where Alice runs away from the Thornfield home to escape June after the devastating stunt she pulled. Here is everything that went down in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1, Episode 4.
- Alice ran away from home after receiving a letter that made her upset. June begins to freak out over Alice being gone and wants someone to find out where she went. Alice wakes up in a truck, where she begins to lay the groundwork of where she is going to go.
- We watch a flashback where Alice and Oggi sit by the lake discussing their future. Alice says that she and Oggi should elope, get passports and run away together. Oggi agrees, and the duo says they must keep it a secret. Later, June breaks the news to Alice that Oggi has been deported, and she is heartbroken.
- At a hotel, a very drunk Alice calls Ruby to ask her if she had a hand in what June did. We find out that Oggi had sent Alice a letter explaining that he was heartbroken over her breaking up with him via email and that he found someone else. Alice knew she didn’t email him, and she told Ruby that she is never returning.
- June calls John to see if he will help her find Alice. However, in the process, Charlie answers and is excited to talk to June, but she pushes him to speak to John. After putting two and two together, we realize that Charlie is Agnes and Clem’s son, and June gave him to John and Sally.
- June ends up in the hospital, and Sally calls to yell at her, but Twig answers. Sally yells, saying June could’ve at least talked to her grandson to say that he had gotten a clean bill of health. She said if Alice calls, tell her her brother Charlie would like to meet her. Twig had this look of confusion on her face as she didn’t know what June had done. She went home and found all the adoption papers and freaked out. When June returns home, Twig snaps at June for what she did. She tells her that Alice had blamed herself for years for her brother’s death. Although June tries to explain, Twig doesn’t want to hear any of it.
