With Twig on her way to tell Charlie the truth, June giving up on treatment, and Alice’s new relationship starting to unravel, things are quickly going south in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. Here is everything that went down in Episode 5:
- Alice starts her new job, which she came highly recommended for by Lulu and Dylan. As she starts to warm up to the new job, Alice and Dylan’s relationship begins to heat up. However, one night at a party, Lulu tells Alice to be careful as she had a past with him. Regardless of what Lulu said, Alice and Dylan continue to be in that puppy love stage of their relationship.
- Dylan and Alice head to the mountains to watch beautiful sights under the stars. While they are out there, Alice asks Dylan if he has ever taken Lulu out there, which upsets him. After disappearing for several hours, Dylan reappeared and the two worked things out. The following morning, Alice opened up to Dylan about her childhood.
- Twig is on the hunt for Alice, but first, she makes a stop at John and Sally’s to tell them the truth about what June had done. She talks to Charlie and informs him that Alice doesn’t know that he is alive and that she hopes to reunite them. Charlie is shocked to think that Alice believes that he is dead. As Twig leaves to find Alice, Charlie asks to go, but Twig promises that she will bring her to him soon.
- The doctors advise June to start getting some treatment for her cancer, but she tells them that she isn’t going to. When she gets home, Candy confronts her about some writings in a book she found. She asks June why she replaced her with Agnes, knowing she loved Clem. June explained that she did what she had to do to protect Candy from Clem. After walking in on Clem raping her, she had to get her out of town because she was far too young for him.
