The hunt for Alice continues in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. Although Twig finds Alice, Alice shares a message of not wanting to see her. While that happens, things between Dylan and Alice get as extreme as ever.
The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1 Episode 6 Recap
The episode begins with Dylan and Alice discussing the future between the two, including moving to a small town and having babies. A big party is happening in town, and Lulu wants Alice to come because they haven’t seen her around since she and Dylan started dating. Of course, Dylan plays off the party being boring, but Alice says she wants to go.

Later that night, when Dylan gets home from work Alice is all dolled up with a dress on and a beer in her hand, waiting for him. However, he walks in with disgust and asks her if she got the slutty dress from Lulu. Instead of going to the party, she now stayed home with Dylan.
After spending time with her friends, Alice returns home to an empty house with Dylan nowhere in sight. The following day, she arrives at work, and he shows up, saying he came home and crashed.
What does Alice say in a voicemail to Twig?
After finding a missing person’s flyer with her face on it, Alice calls the number on the phone and realizes it’s Twig. In her voicemail to Twig, she states that she has a job, a house and she met someone. She said she didn’t want to see her or anyone from back home and hoped she would respect those wishes.
June continues to struggle with being sick, and Candy continues to care for her. June tells her a story of a group of men that ended up knocking her out and raping her. She explained that one of the men that raped her was the birth father of Clem.
What does Dylan do to Alice?
Alice returns home after hanging out with her friends to an upset Dylan, who had asked her where she had been. He asked her who she was with, grabbed her by the throat, and threw her to the ground. The following morning, he apologizes and pleads with her not to leave him. He tries to blame himself and says he is worried that she will find someone else, and he doesn’t want to be that guy. She cries but comforts him, saying she won’t leave him.
While Twig tries to talk Alice into talking with her, Candy calls Twig to tell her that June is on the verge of killing herself and needs her to come home right now. Although she has unfinished business with Alice, she tells Candy she will come home.
The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1 Episode 6 Ending Explained
After a rough day at work, a man comforts Alice, which Dylan sees, and drives off, leaving her at work. Upon coming home, he snaps at her and beats her down, almost choking her to death. When she awakens, she picks up a lamp and hits him across the head, knocking him down.
We see her escape in the truck and get into a house, where Dylan is outside screaming, pounding on the door to let him in while Alice screams, and we hear the voicemail from Twig playing in the background saying she has to tell her stuff that can’t be told on a voicemail, as the episode ends.
