Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 Ending Explained
Mahito and Geto, who we know to be dead, arrive at Muta’s room to hold up their end of the pact and fix his body. Once they do so, Mahito and Muta begin fighting.
Geto lowers a veil to cut off Muta’s communication, but Muta knows he must find a way to contact Gojo to tell him the information he knows about the Shibuya plot.
He decides to use his stored cursed energy to attempt to exorcise Mahito.
Considering I was expecting a sweet slice-of-life episode to start off the new arc, I was pleasantly surprised to see the second half of the episode jumping right into things.
Seeing Geto was definitely a surprise, as any fans who saw Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will remember that Gojo was forced to take the life of his best friend at the end of the movie. I am already intrigued by what’s happening and curious to see what’s in store.
Despite the long break, this episode did not skip a beat, dropping fans back into the action, and I, especially, am glad they did not make us wait for things to build up after such an exciting prequel arc.
