Heist shows are very popular, letting audiences watch clever crimes play out without them putting themselves in legal or physical danger: Lupin is a French TV show on Netflix that is a reimagining of the story of Arsène Lupin, a world-famous gentleman thief and a master of disguise — if you’re looking for shows like Lupin, here are ten like it you must watch.

The show follows thief Assane Diop (Omar Sy), the only son of an immigrant from Senegal who came to France seeking a better life. His father hangs himself after being framed for stealing a diamond necklace by Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre). Assane seeks revenge through subterfuge and disguise.

A Spanish thriller, Money Heist follows The Professor (Álvaro Morte) as he formulates plans to pull off large heists. The thieves take hostages to aid in their negotiations with the authorities, who in turn come up with their own strategies to capture The Professor.

White Collar (2009)

White Collar follows the charming con artist Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer). Unfortunately, after three years of playing a dangerous cat-and-mouse game with his nemesis, FBI Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay), Neal gets caught. In exchange for his freedom, Neal offers to assist Peter and the FBI in taking down and catching other elusive white-collar criminals in New York City.

Leverage (2008)

Leverage follows the former insurance investigator turned con artist Nathan Ford (Timothy Hutton) as he and his merry band of criminal cohorts act as modern-day Robin Hoods, scamming the greedy, corrupt, and wealthy out of their money. Nathan was inspired to begin his enterprise when his former employer refused to pay for healthcare treatment that could have saved his son’s life.

Ozark (2017)

When financial advisor Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) fails to launder money for a Mexican drug cartel, he attempts to make amends by pulling off an even bigger scheme to launder money in the Lake of Ozarks region in central Missouri. Marty makes moves to relocate his family from Chicago to the remote summer resort community of Osage Beach, Missouri. When they arrive, the family quickly becomes entangled with local criminals, including the Langmore and Snell families and even the Kansas City mafia.

The Blacklist (2013)

Wanted fugitive Raymond Reddington (James Spader), who ranks fourth on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, mysteriously surrenders himself to the FBI, claiming that he is willing to help them capture deadly criminals. Using his knowledge and blacklist that he’s developed over several years, he gains the FBI’s trust. He has two conditions for working with the FBI — he wants immunity, and he will only work with profiler Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), who Reddington says is “very special.”

Tokyo Vice (2022)

American journalist Jake Adelstein (Ansel Elgort) relocates to Tokyo and becomes the first foreign-born journalist working for a Japanese newspaper. He is taken under the wing of veteran Dective Hiroto Katagiri (Ken Watanabe) in the vice squad. Adelstein starts to explore the dark and dangerous world of the Japanese yakuza while living under the city’s official line that “murder does not happen in Tokyo.”

Imposters (2017)

Maddie Jonson (Inbar Lavi) is a con artist who works with a team of two others, Max (Brian Benben) and Sally (Katherine LaNasa), as part of an organized crime network for the mysterious Doctor (Ray Proscia). The trio’s preferred method of operation is to lure both male and female targets to fall in love with Maddie and then steal their valuables as soon as Maddie marries them.

Three of Maddie’s victims, Ezra Bloom (Rob Heaps), Richard Evans (Parker Young), and Jules Langmore (Marianne Rendón), decide to team up to find Maddie, but their lack of money forces them to become con artists themselves.

Riviera (2017)

Set in the Côte d’Azur on the southeastern coast of France, the extremely powerful and wealthy banker Constantine Clios (Anthony LaPaglia) and his wife Georgina (Julia Stiles) lead a life of luxury. But this changes after an explosion on a yacht kills Constantine and throws Georgina’s world into chaos.

Her life unravels further when Constantine’s ex-wife and children show up. To uncover the truth about her husband’s death, Georgina becomes immersed in a world of deceit, double-dealing, and crime.

Criminal Minds (2005)

Criminal Minds follows a team of criminal profilers working for the FBI as members of its Behavioral Analysis Unit. They use behavioral analysis to help investigate crimes, find criminals, and find the suspect, known only as the unsub.

ZeroZeroZero (2019)

An Italian crime drama, ZeroZeroZero focuses on the troubled journey that a large shipment of cocaine makes from Monterrey, Mexico, to Gioia Tauro, Italy. The sellers are Enrique Leyra (Víctor Huggo Martín) and Jacinto Leyra (Flavio Medina), two siblings and Mexican drug lords who are aided by Manuel Quinteras (Harold Torres) and his corrupt soldiers. The buyer is Don Minu La Piana, a boss of the ‘Ndrangheta.

But infighting in the group from Don’s ambitious grandson Stefano (Giuseppe De Domenico), the Curtiga family, and the Lynwoods family causes the shipment to be rerouted to Morocco, with the delay having huge consequences for everyone involved.
