Summary

A brilliantly constructed hour with Tozawa wreaking havoc leads to a great episode of Tokyo Vice.

Things are ramping up with Tozawa’s return in Episode 4 of Toyko Vice Season 2. Tozawa isn’t thrilled with how things were handled in his absence and begins to make a statement by dethroning a leader. Samantha heads out to visit Ohno to get the information needed but runs into a massive roadblock. And Ishida sends Sato and Hayama on a mission that turns out to be deadly.

After Hiroto warns him that the cops are coming for everyone, Ishida sits with both gangs to inform them of their plans. When he starts discussing how they must protect themselves, Tozawa arrives refreshed and ready to talk business. First, he mentions how the Chihara-kai is taking over his spots and he isn’t thrilled about it. Ishida and Tozawa meet alone to discuss business, and no matter what Ishida says, Tozawa wants nothing to do with it.

Sato and Kaito are playing video games when Kaito informs him that Hayama took him for a visit. Sato pushes him to not work with Hayama, and it pisses Kaito off, leading to him storming away from him.

Samantha heads to meet with Ohno and accepts his offer to stay with him for a little while. After some dinner, drinks, and dancing, Ohno offers to take her home. But before they leave, he realizes she has gone through his bag and questions why.

Ishida informs Sato that he will meet with Ota to retrieve guns from him. On the ride, Sato pleads with Hayama to leave Kaito alone, as he will be in debt with him. But Hayama says that he will take care of him. The duo arrives at Ota’s only to find out that the guns are running behind, and they will have to stay the night.

After a night full of drinking, things get wild between Ota and Hayama. Hayama attacks Sato as a joke, but things turn ugly when Ota stabs Hayama. The duo goes to battle, but Hayama stabs Ota in the chest and burns his house down.

Misaki has ignored Jake since the night of the party. She finally calls him to tell him to meet her at their special spot. They meet, and she tells him Tozawa is back and like a new man. She informs him they can no longer see each other, and she’s returning to her old life.

After leaving the club, Jake calls Hiroto to tell him the news about Tozawa’s return, and he’s shocked. Hiroto tells Jake to keep his distance. When Hiroto returns home, he finds an envelope in his car, and there are pictures of his kids playing on the playground.

Jake meets with Chihara-kai’s lawyers to get some information for the paper. Sawada informs them that they are holding his clients on obstruction of justice, and he hopes that he will inform the audiences of this massive wrongdoing. Upon leaving, Jake runs into Tozawa and begins to follow him.

Nakahara informs him that isn’t how things will go and instructs his men to handle Tozawa, but Tozawa says his men are his now. They throw Nakahara off the roof, and his dead body lands right next to Jake.
