Loot Season 2 got off to a rollicking start in a two-part premiere that created plenty of interesting subplots to be explored in Episode 3 and beyond. There’s Molly’s new business venture, Howard’s new business venture, Sofia’s potential new relationship with architect Isaac, and John’s petulant new endeavor to go to space. With all that on the table, let’s speculate about what might be coming next.
Molly Needs to Get Moving On Space for Everyone
Molly’s new bright idea for shifting her fortune is buying up empty hotels and allowing homeless people to live in them free of charge. It’s a well-intentioned idea, but will be much more of a logistical challenge than she foresaw, which is why she enlisted the services of Isaac.
I would expect Isaac to start work on renovating the hotel Molly purchased in Episode 2, and clash with Sofia over it, which would be a smart way of weaving the main plot with Molly into this new romantic territory for Sofia. Things have gone rather swimmingly for Isaac and Sofia thus far, but mixing business and pleasure rarely works.
Will John go to space?
An interesting question is whether John really intends for his company to venture out into space, or if he was just saying it to sully Molly’s reputation. We saw his smug retort at the end of Episode 1 that he was giving her the space that she asked for, but does that mean he’s really going to do it?
Sending John off into space would be a funny subplot, but I think it’s unlikely the idea pans out. I do think he’ll lean on it for another few weeks to torment Molly though.
Howard’s Wrestling League
I’m very interested in seeing the progression of Howard’s wrestling business, especially if it consistently involves Arthur as an investor and potential partner. Arthur’s complete lack of understanding of the industry and Howard’s wild enthusiasm but general uselessness would make for a very entertaining odd-couple pairing.
I really hope subsequent episodes run with this.

Episode 3 of Loot Season 2 is scheduled to be released on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024. The release time is 3 AM EST. Episode 3 is titled “Vengeance Falls” and will have a runtime of 33 minutes.
