June 2024 is a Star Wars month on Disney+. Yes, that title is typically reserved for May, but the latest big-deal live-action series in the current canon is set to debut this month in the form of The Acolyte. So, you know, that’s the big deal.

Yeah, it’s The Acolyte.
I’d have loved to provide an unexpected outside-the-box offering here, but come on. It’s Star Wars. But excitingly, The Acolyte is also set to be the live-action debut for the High Republic, an entire era of Star Wars storytelling that has thus far been contained to books, comics, and animated kids’ shows.
So, you know, exciting. Plus it’s one of the only originals coming out this month.
