Memory of a Killer has one of those premises that just resonates, which is probably why it has been adapted and remade so many times.

You might have a memory of Memory of a Killer, a Belgian novel that became a Belgian movie and was remade with Liam Neeson in 2022 under the simpler title Memory. If you don’t, Episode 1 will give you a familiar feeling either way.

Good news! I think Episode 2 of Best Medicine is definitely better than the premiere, which is a good sign.

If you didn’t know that Best Medicine was a remake of the cosy British hit Doc Martin, you’ll figure it out pretty soon into Episode 1, which is basically a carbon copy of the original show’s pilot.

Murder in a Small Town doesn’t suit the cliffhanger ending, does it?

Unpopular opinion though it might be, I think Mayor Christie Holman has been my favourite character in Murder in a Small Town Season 2.
