Good news! I think Episode 2 of Best Medicine is definitely better than the premiere, which is a good sign.

Murder in a Small Town doesn’t suit the cliffhanger ending, does it?

Sorry, but what is going on here? All's Fair hasn't exactly been easy to take seriously since the beginning, but Episode 7 takes the show's blurring of drama and comedy to such an extreme that I have no real idea of whether it's finally revealing itself as an outright parody or is simply so rubbish that the distinction has become meaningless.

Unpopular opinion though it might be, I think Mayor Christie Holman has been my favourite character in Murder in a Small Town Season 2.

Remember when Ryan Murphy inexplicably spent a whole hour of All’s Fair trying to make us feel sorry for Carrington Lane? That was weird, right? Then again, the whole show’s weird, so what can you do? Episode 6 wants you to forget about that anyway.

I know I’m always moaning about this show for reasons that it sometimes can’t even help, but “Masterpiece” – a provocative title in itself, I think – doesn’t really feel like Murder in a Small Town, you know what I mean?
