The biggest question swirling around MGM+’s prestige retelling of the Robin Hood story is whether or not we really need another Robin Hood story.

One of the more intriguing parts of the legend of Billy the Kid -- part of the reason, I suspect, why stories about his life have always been so popular -- is that his death has a conspiratorial quality to it.
