Those final words in the Brightburn Final trailer are chilling, absolutely chilling and horror-like:
I want to do good mom, I do.
If you ever hear your child say that, do not trust them. They have no intention of being good at all. That is the type of line befitting a horror movie, and the Brightburn final trailer really hit home that this is not going to be your usual superhero movie. In fact, despite the superpowers, it is going to be the absolute opposite.
While the previous trailers of Brightburn were more conceptual than showing the reality of the actual movie, the final trailer shows us more what the anti-superhero horror film is actually about. We see the “Bad Superman” in action, as he terrifies his family, the town and inflicts horror on others. Here is the trailer for good measure:
General Movie Information

Synopsis: What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?
With a plethora of superhero movies thrown at us every year, and with the buzz of Endgame finally running its course, Brightburn is the much-needed alternative we need from the usual heroics of saving the world. Riding the last 12 months of controversy and turning it into his own luck, James Gunn is at the helm as Producer, moving from Guardians of the Galaxy to work on something different. Of course, we are still delighted that he will be behind the wheel of Asgardians of the Galaxy.
