After the shocking events of the last chapter, “Hunted” sees Elroy continue to battle with his guilt over Sara and his strange relationship with Mariana as he lays on the casino floor, badly injured. The theme of guilt is heavy in this Netflix series; the lead character Álex plays on it, making family and their acquaintances sweat.
More reasons for Elroy’s guilt
Mariana was the person who helped Elroy from a young age, picking him up from an orphanage. His ties to the family go way beyond dark secrets; they emotionally burden him. Flashbacks show Sara going to Elroy for comfort, but he tried to hook up with her, and she pushed him off. He tells her he loves her, but she slaps him. “Hunted” shows how he’s still that young boy but in an adult body.
Elroy sees Elisa and Álex tinkering with the computer in the casino, and he points a gun at them. However, he keeps seeing Sara and freaks out, so he walks away.
Bruno promises Imara to help her out.
Bruno looks for Imara in Episode 6; his curiosity has gotten the better of him, and he wants to see how he can save her. When he finds her, he promises to help her escape. A massive claim from the young boy, bringing an enticing subplot — he doesn’t truly understand the world he is in yet.

And Episode 6 shows another perspective of what happened at the end of the last chapter. Who Killed Sara? plays with different perspectives.
After Álex’s latest ploy to embarrass Cesar, Elisa tells him that she cares about him — the pair have formed a strong bond very quickly. Elroy points a gun at Cesar and then points it at himself. A security guard nearby shoots him. As he falls to the floor, he remembers moving his mother’s ladder, and she fell to her death. In the present, there is panic in the casino, and Cesar learns that Álex was in the establishment.
Álex fights his way through the casino and heads to the basement. Álex and Cesar briefly meet each other’s eyes, but amongst the chaos, it’s short-lived. Cesar’s business acquaintance keeps tabs on Álex on the CCTV and tells his men where he is.
Cesar looks for Álex
Episode 6 shows Cesar wanting to deal with the problem himself, knowing the family is fragile and his reputation is slowly ebbing away.
Chema and Rodolfo learn that Álex is trapped in the basement. Meanwhile, Elisa quietly follows her father, Cesar, who is looking for Álex, wielding a gun. She cannot get access to the next basement area as there’s a security pad on the door. Eventually, Cesar and Álex find themselves fighting each other. Chema, Rodolfo, and Elisa find another way to get inside the other area of the basement. Álex makes it outside, and he faces them all; they help him inside a van and drive off, leaving Cesar behind. Elisa wants to take him to the hospital, but he doesn’t want to go. It’s interesting how Rodolfo and Chema wanted to help Álex; it assumes they are not guilty of any of this.
The ending
Cesar is still on a mission and makes his way to Álex’s house. He sees the set-up Álex has and his thirst for revenge. This is a sobering moment; he knows how angry Álex truly is. Flashbacks show Cesar having sex with Sara near the water. In the present, Cesar shoots up Álex’s place with a shotgun before collapsing on the floor in tears and anger.
As the episode ends, there’s a shocking revelation; in the van, Álex reveals it is his fault that Elroy tried to commit suicide; he reminded him that Sara’s baby wasn’t Rodolfo’s. Rodolfo suddenly stops the car in shock.
