Lucifer season 6, episode 3 recap
Linda suggests that in order for Lucifer to become God, he should look to the past. After he reflects back to Delilah, the singer murdered way back in the pilot episode, Lucifer decides that he will help her killer, Jimmy Barnes. But as he died in a mental institution, it may not help Lucifer. That is unless Lucifer visits him in Hell.
Mysterious Non-Demon and Dan appear on Earth. He tries to foil her plan of killing Lucifer, but as Dan is now a ghost, he is unable to touch or grab anything. Which clearly provides some problems for Dan. Lucifer goes to Hell to help Jimmy, where he reluctantly takes Chloe with him.
Amenadiel begins his cop training, where he meets his trainer, Sonya Harris (played by Merrin Dungey). Sonya may or may not like coffee ice cream. Amenadiel’s first day goes relatively ok, aside from arresting Maze. Down in Hell, Lucifer and Chloe go to Jimmy’s loop. But it transforms them into a cartoon.
Trapped in the Hell loop, they next visit Jimmy’s loop of the 80s. They watch as Jimmy is fired by the band Wednesday Child before he tells people they were frauds and had stolen the music. Realizing that Jimmy had been rejected and now feared abandonment, Lucifer and Chloe watch as his mother abandons him whilst he was a young boy. Lucifer uses his power and changes the Hell loop so that Jimmy’s mother doesn’t leave him. Feeling worthy enough to be God, Lucifer takes himself and Chloe out of Jimmy’s loop.
The ending
Back in normal Hell, Lucifer and Chloe go to see Dan. But he isn’t there. Later that night, Lucifer is attacked by the mysterious non-demon in his apartment. She says she has spent years hating and wants revenge. Who is she? His daughter, so she claims. OMG.
