Elite season 5, episode 3 recap
Samuel is unable to get into the bathroom, as Omar’s homeless friend, Bilal, is in there. Whilst Benjamin doesn’t scold his children for their “orgy”, instead, he forces everyone at Las Encinas into taking a drug test. A negative test will result in two points towards results, a positive one results in the students getting expelled. No one will do the test. So, instead, he forces the students into choosing a student to expel. Isadora makes a sorority call, she reveals the plan that she heard to expel Prince Phillipe. Instead, she says he is a gentleman and should remain.
Ivan has gotten film tickets for him and Patrick. Plans with friends; not a date, he claims. And they hug it out. In the girls changing room, it appears that Mercia and Rebe have also made up. Whilst at work, Samu apologizes to Omar and blames it on spending too much together whilst actually not talking to each other. Ari and Patrick dress Ivan up for the “friends date.” Just as he and Patrick are about to leave, Ivan kisses Ari.
During the movie festival, Ari and Samuel aren’t having a good time. On the other hand, Ivan and Patrick are. As Ivan gets drinks, Ari follows and warns him to stay away from her and Samuel. Bilal hugs Omar, and they kiss. Omar tells him to stop, that he doesn’t have to sleep with him to stay. And, so, Omar says he will help him find a job.
During the movie festival, Rebe and Mencia kiss, whilst Isadora does her best to annoy Caye. When Caye reaches breaking point, she pours a drink on Isadora. Almost as quickly as they made up, Rebe dumps Mencia: “I’m done. It’s over”. And she walks away (from her own car) as others get tied up. Isadora talks Prince Phillipe into rough sex, but when he has flashbacks he is unable to go through with it. Ivan says that Patrick’s fantasies will hurt him, and like Rebe, he leaves his own car.
The ending
Isadora returns to her hotel room, and Benjamin allows Mencia to sit next to him. Samu struggles to have sex with Ari, and after a heart-to-heart, Ari is in bed with Patrick. Ari texts Ivan and she thanks him for doing the right thing with Patrick. Samu’s computer is missing, and Omar dismisses Samu’s worries and tells Samu that Bilal needs it more. Following Isadora’s IG post that suggests she was with Prince Phillipe, he questions whether she is with him for fame. Far from it, not only has she lost 2,000 followers, but she wants to help him.
At school, the results are in. The results are in, except for one: Omar’s. And he votes for Samuel! And just as it looks like Samuel will be expelled, comes Benjamin’s twist. It’s only for three days. And like that, Benjamin has crumbled the union between students. Benjamin reminds Samuel of the time that he fought for Omar and that he suggested he stopped fighting everyone’s battles. Omar tries to defend his actions, but Samuel has none of it and tells Omar to move out by the morning. In a flashforward, Samuel gets asked by Ari, “I need to know why you did it, did my Dad make you that crazy?”
