Summary
For the most part, and in a slightly bizarre move, the episode hides away from the shocking ending of episode four. Although, some viewers won’t mind as this episode includes what is likely to be the most raunchy sex scene ever seen on Elite.

Elite season 5, episode 5 recap
Police swarm the area following Samuel’s “discovery”, as Ari warns Ivan that “this never happened” as they come off the boat. Patrick finds an upset Ivan and tells him that he can tell him anything. Ivan eventually reveals that he’s sick of moving around all of the time. As for Patrick, he wants someone who loves him as he deserves to be loved. Is there still a chance of romance between the pair?
As Caye cleans the school, she stumbles across Isadora’s use of drugs. The detectives investigating Armando’s death warn Benjamin that he should cooperate. Benjamin quizzes Samuel as to why Guzman left just a few days after Armando died. Felipe returns! (If you watched Elite Short Stories 2: Phillipe Caye Felipe, you’ll remember him as one of the more memorable characters). And it’s a joy to see him return. Cruz joins Patrick and Ivan for drinks, and it doesn’t take long before Cruz manages to put his foot in it. Cruz tries to insist that he isn’t gay, nor bi. Even so, Cruz asks Patrick to come to his room that night.
Once Prince Phillipe sees that Felipe is back on the scene, he suggests that they, Caye, and Isadora go for dinner. Patrick and Ivan decide to watch porn together, and just when they come close to a kiss, Ivan backs out. Patrick accuses him of jerking him about and storms off, whilst during dinner, Isadora proves to be as annoying and problematic as ever. Caye tells Isadora that Prince Phillipe must hear about her “problem”, and she takes Isadora home. Whilst in bed alone, Patrick is about to visit Cruz when he bumps into Ivan. Ivan pours his heart out and finally kisses Patrick. And after they have sex, it’s clear that Patrick really has got himself into a situation by becoming involved with both Ivan and Cruz.
The ending
Caye helps Isadora back to her hotel. And despite feeling alone, she tries to push Caye away and dismisses concerns over her drug addiction. At Las Encinas, Cruz tells Patrick that he waited for him, with Patrick claiming that he isn’t in the right headspace for what is developing between them. Police officers visit the school and order Benjamin to leave his office as they search it. As Samuel and Ari grow more distant, Mencia goes to Rebe with her belief that her father killed Armando. And shortly afterward, she learns that the detective has taken her phone. But as she gets questioned, Samuel confesses to murdering Armando, a stunt that Benjamin had convinced him to do in return for the best lawyers and a future that he wouldn’t have to worry about anymore.
