The Flight Attendant season 2, episode 8 recap – the finale and ending explained
Megan warns the Korean man that she has in her boot that she’ll kill him if he comes after her family again. Shortly afterward, Megan flies to LA. Following Grace’s death, Dot tells Cassie that her statement was very helpful, and it also proves that Benjamin is innocent. But then comes the shock reveal, Grace was not the only blonde double!
Meanwhile, Cassie asks Shane to help get Megan into witness protection. After Megan and Shane see each other in person, he says he will help, but only if he gets full transparency from her. After Cassie learns that Davey hasn’t been home, she realizes that Dot is the second Blonde Double. Uncovering evidence that shows Dot knew Grace, Cassie realizes that she has walked straight into the killer’s hands. After failing to set an alarm to secure her safety, Cassie remains trapped in Dot’s flat. Dot calls Cassie and Grace “broken toys”. She adds that she killed Will as he tried to blackmail her, and as Cassie fits the role of rogue operative, she was the perfect setup.
But luckily for Cassie, Benjamin has realized that Dot is corrupt, and he soon has agents come and arrest Dot. With Cassie now seemingly safe, she and Benjamin agree to keep things professional, aka, forget about their night together in the office. Cassie tries to call Davey again, but this time Jenny answers. Jenny claims that Davey is pacing and yelling, so Cassie agrees to come on over.
The ending
Although, when Cassie gets there, Davey has been drugged, and Jenny threatens her with a hammer. Jenny reveals that she doesn’t have a podcast. In actual fact, she is Felix’s girlfriend. (Or so she claims, in reality, she is more of a crazed fan). In the hope of pleasing Felix, Jenny wants to kill Cassie. But with help from Davey, who regains consciousness, Cassie knocks out Jenny.
As The Flight Attendant season two comes to an end, we see Megan get into witness protection with her husband and son. And it’s all thanks to Shane. Once Brenda congratulates Cassie on being 30 days sober, Cassie calls her Mom and acknowledges how she has hurt her. They hope to speak again soon and end the call with “I love you”. And finally, Annie and Max get married! The season ends as Cassie, Annie, and Max dance at the wedding reception with Annie and Max saying that they will be starting their own PI company.
