This article discusses the Hulu series The D’Amelio Show season 2 and will cover the premise, release date, the cast, the production, and other details.

I’m afraid I don’t know much about the world of Tik Tok influencers, but this show has emerged from the success of Charli and Dixie and their Tik Tok presence. Obviously, the show must have garnered an audience, as the second season has been announced, and after a bit of a deep dive, here’s everything I know about it.

The D’Amelio Show season 2 release date

The series will premiere on Hulu on September 28, 2022.

The D’Amelio Show season 2 premise

If you know this format, you know the premise. After the success of season one, it would appear the premise of this season is the same as the last one. The cameras will follow Charli Dixie and their parents as they traverse the social media landscape and try to remain grounded and focused at the same time. In season one, we became embroiled in the machinations of Dixie trying hard to break into the music industry, and I imagine this thread will continue in season 2, Charli is also in the spotlight as she continues to manage, and juggle Tik Tok, her dance moves and trying to be a normal human being.

Our opinion on the premise

Let’s be honest, if you are already invested in these influencers, then you will be on board regardless of what anyone else says. The premise is of course exactly what the fans will want, and that’s exactly what they will get . The premise is solid, as it will give people exactly what they want to see.

Is there a trailer for Hulu’s The D’Amelio Show season 2?

Yes, there are, and a lot of teasers, too, here’s one that will give you the tone.

Notable in the trailer is the statement that the team is in a “better place” now for season two, which begs the question, did season 1 of this show perhaps show the cast in a more somber or darker tone than their audience was used to? It does feel that this season may be lighter in it’s content to stop commentators focussing on the true destructive nature of living your life on social media.

What else do we know?

It seems that there may be an album released from Dixie towards the end of the year, as well as some live performances, so the show may focus on that to help with exposure for these projects. There is also talk of Charli and her relationship with ex-Chase Hudson. Could there be a reconciliation on the horizon? Chase Hudson records his own music under the name Lil Huddy, and his album Teenage Heartbreak is speculated to have songs that specifically refer to Charli. With numerous appearances in season 1, it could be safe to say that Noah Beck, a fellow content creator, and Dixie’s boyfriend, will make further appearances in this season. Charli is slated to be the voice of a mouse in the upcoming animated movie Stardog and Turbocat. The sisters have over 200 million followers on TikTok.

You will be able to watch this series with a subscription to Hulu.
