We had two huge episodes of The Sex Lives of College Girls that set us up for the season finale next week. From new relationships, a new duo hooking up, someone coming out to their dad, and heartbreak. Here is everything that went down in season 2, episodes 7 & 8.
- Eric found out about Bela and Dan hooking up and broke it off with her. Bela tried to explain the who, what and why but Eric didn’t want to hear it.
- Bela’s childhood friend came to visit during Pre-Fresh week, which focuses on students that might attend Essex. However, after arriving, she realized her friend Bria had gotten hot and didn’t want much to do with her.
- Bela throws a party at the dorm with her back against the wall, trying to be still cool, but Bria doesn’t show up. After a conversation where Bria explains to her why the duo makes up, as Bela understands why.
- Whitney hooks up with Andrew, but both know they must stop. But, regardless of their knowing it, it happened again.
- Whitney explains what happened to her friends, and they say they must stop meeting in places where it’s just them.
- So we see Andrew and Whitney meet at the library, which didn’t matter because they hooked up in the library. So all was good until Canaan walked in on the two of them.
- Kimberly gets approached by the union to start protesting their wages, and she is 100% in. However, after things start slow, she calls the Senator (Whitney’s mom) for help and she comes to the rescue.
- After delivering a speech that had a quote from a slave owner, the Senator freaked out on Kimberly, but Kimberly was able to help fix it, leading to the protestors getting what they wanted.
- Later, Canaan and Lila tell Kimberly she has a type and that she and Jackson have nothing in common. So, of course, this sets her on a mission to figure out what they have in common.
- After confronting him, Jackson breaks down why it’s okay they don’t like the same things. Towards the end of breaking it down, he said he didn’t want to have all the things in common with someone he was dating. Those words shocked Kimberly, but now the duo is officially an item.
- Leighton struggles with Tatum because she thinks she is cooler than her. Whitney and Bela both agreed with this statement.
- In an attempt to be calm, Leighton got them into an underground art party. However, Tatum knew the person that was throwing it, embarrassing Leighton. Tatum confronts Leighton, which leads to Leighton coming clean. Tatum didn’t care, she just knew that she liked Leighton.
- We find out that Leighton and Tatum’s fathers both knew each other from their time in Essex. This led to them all going to dinner together. Leighton freaked out and told Tatum that her dad didn’t know she was out, and Tatum said it was okay.
- Finally, at dinner, Leighton came out to her father, who was awkward at first, but her father said that it hurt him that he didn’t know this about his daughter.
- The eighth episode ended with Leighton and Tatum hooking up, but someone was texting Tatum’s phone, asking if they could meet up.

Predictions
- Leighton confronts Tatum about the mystery person texting her.
- Kimberly takes a pregnancy test, which is positive (possible cliffhanger).
- Whitney and Andrew can’t stop hooking up.
- Bela’s writing group finally takes off.
The text at the end of the episode was actually on Leighton’s phone, not Tatum’s. It was from her ex Alicia (S1 from the women’s center) saying she was thinking of her and asking to meet up.
You put Leighton confronts Tatum but I think you ment to put Tatum confronts Leighton
