We discuss 7 TV Shows like Kaleidoscope you must watch. Keep this list handy and add these shows to your watch list.

On the surface, the Netflix original series Kaleidoscope is a crime drama about a group of outlaws in the run-up and aftermath of a huge heist. Unlike every other show out there, this one is non-linear, giving audiences the choice of watching each episode in whatever order they see fit. The fun little gimmick along with performances from cast members including Giancarlo Esposito, Rufus Sewell, and Tati Gabrielle ensured the series’s popularity.

If you’ve finished shuffling through all 8 episodes and enjoyed the story, here are a few other shows that may pique your interest (even if they do mostly follow standard linear storytelling).

7 TV Shows like Kaleidoscope you must watch

Money Heist (2017 – 2021)

Money Heist is a Spanish internationally-renowned crime drama created by Álex Pina. Just like Kaleidoscope, this action-packed series follows a group of criminals as they attempt to pull the biggest heist Madrid has ever seen.

Good Girls (2018 – 2021)

Unlike Kaleidoscope, the main characters in Good Girls aren’t career criminals with a special set of skills. Instead, they’re lower-middle-class suburban moms sick and tired of financial hardships. Feeling like they have no other choice, the three decide robbing the supermarket one of them works at is the best course of action. Featuring star performances from Christina Hendricks, Retta, and Mae Whitman, the show had a four-season run before Netflix pulled the plug.

Mr. Robot (2015 – 2019)

The Emmy-award-winning series Mr. Robot centers on a vigilante hacker played by Rami Malek who gets recruited by hacktivists and joins a plot to destroy all debt. After its original premiere, critics and fans praised it for its accurate portrayal of technology and mind-bending plot. While not exactly what we’d call a heist drama, the series explores the criminal side of cyberspace and raises some compelling questions.

Lupin (2021 – )

Lupin is a French thriller about a sophisticated thief set on getting revenge on the man who framed his father for stealing. You can stream both seasons of this engaging series on Netflix and rest assured knowing the streaming giant recently ordered a third.

Snatch (2017-2018)

A loose adaptation of the same-name movie starring Guy Ritchie, Snatch follows a group of thieves after they get their hands on what’s literally a truck full of gold. Completely out of their depth, the group now has to find a way to move their haul while avoiding the big bad criminal organization they stole from. While the show didn’t get the warmest response from viewers, it’s pretty fun to watch if you like some comedy sprinkled on your crime shows.

Sky Rojo (2021 – 2023)

The second series by Álex Pina to make this list, Sky Rojo is a fast-paced series about three human trafficking victims on the run from their pimp and his henchmen. While the show’s main focus isn’t stealing (although it does include a heist-type subplot), it does portray a group of people involved in the criminal underworld and their willingness to do whatever it takes for the chance at a better life.

The Endgame (2022 )

Created by Nicholas Wootton, this NBC series follows a career criminal, the FBI agent on a mission to stop her, and the seven high-profile heists she’s organized. All 10 episodes are a fun convoluted ride with unexpected reveals at every corner. Despite its potential, the show got axed after only one season on the air.
