Where can you stream Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey? This article discusses where the film will be streamed and the release date.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is a film with a microscope budget that stormed onto the scene last year, with its gory take on the once peaceful Hundred Acre Wood. Instead of the zen-like Winnie the Pooh and his friend Piglet we are all used to, this film shows audiences an alternate universe where the two characters took Christopher Robin, leaving them to grow up a bit too personally, and are murdering anyone who comes near.

Made on a reported budget of only $15,000, this slasher flick is able to be made because the original Winnie the Pooh, created by A. A. Milne in 1926, has entered the public domain. Tigger won’t be in the film, as he remains under copyright until 2024, but the sequel to Blood and Honey that is already in production might include the character, should it be released after January 1, 2024.

Where can you stream Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey?

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey isn’t available for streaming, and it’s likely to stay that way. Films made by the same production company, Jagged Edge Productions, are available to rent or buy through Amazon Prime Video, but otherwise, this film will be released on DVD.

It’s unlikely that Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey will appear on a free streaming service anytime soon, unfortunately.

Is Winnie the Pooh on any streaming service?

There are several nonviolent Winnie the Pooh adventures from TV shows dating back from 1988, the animated movie classics, and the more recent Ewan McGregor-led Christopher Robin film that was released in 2018.

These can be streamed on Disney+ and can be accessed via a subscription to the service.

The iconic red jumper commonly associated with the little bear still remains under copyright, as Disney still own the copyright to it.

Is Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey out?

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is scheduled for a wide US release on February 15, but other countries, such as the UK, will get the film later. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the film will get a theatrical release, but the date has yet to be announced. The film will get a Blu-ray release on April 24, 2023, which looks like it is the earliest date that UK viewers will be able to see the film.

Some countries like Mexico have already had the film release in their countries, and it has so far been a resounding success. According to  The Hollywood Reporter, the film has made nearly $1 million. It will no doubt reach the million-dollar mark globally, making it an extremely profitable film.

Is Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey out on Hulu or Disney’s Star?

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey won’t come to Hulu or Disney’s Star for audiences outside the US as Disney has not made the film. Disney would probably like to maintain their distance from this film because it is taking a widely beloved children’s franchise and giving it a more violent, less family-friendly take.

If Disney does decide to make any more Winnie the Pooh projects, they will likely be released onto the main section on Disney+.
