This article is a preview for Titans season 4, episode 10 and contains details of the release date, time, and where to watch online. It also contains spoilers for previous episodes and seasons.

Beginning life on the now-defunct DC Universe streaming platform, Titans began as a very controversial proposition — a deliberately edgy take on DC’s teeny-bopper super-team infamously marketed around Dick Grayson saying “F*ck Batman” in the trailer — but has since cemented its identity as a very decent and rather unconventional series. The third season, which was housed on HBO Max, dealt with everything from a murderous Batman to a pot-smoking Scarecrow to the literal afterlife, and the fourth season seems intent to top even that by pivoting rather explicitly into horror territory and working through a story involving the sinister, otherworldly Church of Blood.

Here’s what happened in Titans Season 4 Episode 9:

  • We finally caught up with Gar, who we learn had been pulled through The Red by a man named Dominic, aka Freedom Beast.
  • Dominic explained that the Red is a life force connecting all animals and microorganisms in various DC universes. Gar is intimately tied to it and will become its ultimate protector.
  • Beast Boy and Freedom Beast destroyed a lab responsible for creating Sakutia, which we learn was deliberately released by Dr. Niles Caulder, creating Beast Boy and damaging the Red.
  • Gar attempted to travel through the Red, seeing glimpses of other DC heroes like Shazam, the Flash, and Swamp Thing, and briefly met Stargirl.
  • At the end of the episode Gar was deposited on an alternate Earth and promptly discovered by Cyborg.

Titans season 4, episode 10 release date/time

Predictions for Titans Season 4 Episode 10:

  • I don’t imagine we’ll rejoin Gar immediately. Instead focus will shift back to the rest of the Titans pursuing Mother Mayhem and Sebastian.
  • I’m sure the Red will connect to the overarching plot somehow — I wonder if the key to defeating Trigon will be found here.
  • Is Conner shaping up to be the season’s Big Bad or will he be redeemed? I expect the latter but he’ll cause some problems before then.
  • The Dick and Kory romance will develop, mostly to make Kory’s inevitable prophecized death more impactful.
