Do Tully and Danny End Up Together in Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 2?
In a happy ending, Tully and Danny do end up together. However, it isn’t as simple as it sounds.
Near the end of Part 2, Tully accepts that Danny is going to get married to another woman named Celeste. However, in a strange twist, Danny’s fiance kisses Tully unexpectedly.
It turns out Celeste did not intend on marrying Danny. She has doubts about him. After Danny finds out that Celeste kissed Tully, their relationship was over.
However, the complications do not end there. With Danny wanting to explore a relationship with Tully, she is hesitant to move forward with anything; she dedicates her time to supporting her dying best friend, Kate, instead.
How do Tully and Danny end up together?
Kate is the person that encourages the relationship to happen after she tells Tully that she wants her to have happiness after she dies. Kate tells Tully she wants to hear about her dates with Danny and the exciting sex.
And so Tully returns to her apartment to see Danny there. However, in a last-minute test of their relationship, Danny tells Tully he is moving back to New York to launch a start-up business.
For the first time in Tully’s romantic life, she lays down her guard, removes her stubbornness, and asks Danny to stay. Danny agrees, and they officially get together. The only reason Danny wanted to move back to New York was because he was unsure if Tully would ever prioritize a life with him.
Tully asking Danny to stay is a turning point.
Do Tully and Danny get married?
While we’d like to think eventually they’d get married, there’s no suggestion in Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 2 that Danny and Tully tied the knot.
