Where was the series Fatal Attraction filmed? We discuss the Paramount+ series and its filming locations. We do not discuss spoilers.

If, like me, you are of a certain age, you may remember the storm of controversy that surrounded the film version of Fatal Attraction from 1987.

The shocking thriller starred Michael Douglas and Glenn Close in a tale of infidelity and madness that would be a box office smash but lead to lots of conversation about the subject matter.

Well, the story has been re-imagined, this time as a TV series, with Dan Gallagher cheating on his wife Beth with Alex Forrest.

Alex does not take kindly to the relationship ending and embarks on an unhinged campaign of terror on the cheating husband, leading to pot boiling madness.

However, this article does not want to focus on the sex, violence, and mental instability of the characters.

Dear reader, you have arrived here because you can rise above the base level of titillation that such a show may offer and instead focus on the technical requirements of the series, so forget about the salacious nature of the plot and read this article that will explain where the TV series Fatal Attraction was filmed?

Where was the series Fatal Attraction filmed – a breakdown of filming locations

Los Angeles County, California

Although the original film was pretty much lensed in and around New York, the TV show made a conscious decision to shift the action to California.

This may have been a deliberate financial decision, as it can be easier to film in and around LA than in the bustle of New York.

It seems that the entire project was filmed in LA, and eagle-eyed location lovers will have recognized many of the locations used.

The Prince Restaurant, Los Angeles

You can see this restaurant in the series, and with its signature Korean-style deep-fried chicken, The Prince has made its mark as the go-to
restaurant for chicken and beer.

The Original Pantry Cafe, Los Angeles

Here’s another eatery in the area that was used for filming.

Found at the corner of 9th and Figueroa in Downtown LA’s South Park district, The Pantry claims never to have closed or been without a customer since it opened.

You can visit The Pantry Cafe at  877 South Figueroa Street, LA.

V Los Angeles Lounge, Los Angeles

Another trendy restaurant features in the show.

The V Lounge in LA is set in a converted 1920s jewelry store, and you can find it at 515 West 7th Street 90014, Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Centre Studios

This well-used and professional film studio has six different sound stages, all of which are the most technologically advanced in Los Angeles.

The area has 72 large, fully furnished dressing rooms, and each one has a private shower and bathroom attached.

Milan Avenue, South Pasadena

A property located at 1230 Milan Avenue in the city of South Pasadena was used as the house of the Gallaghers.

Scenes were filmed here, with Alex making some uninvited visits to see Dan.

The lovely house has four bedrooms and five bathrooms and was originally the home of Thomas Rathbone.
