Never Have I Ever Season 4 Episode 5 Recap
Who is Blair Quan?
Devi is off to New York on Ms. Warner’s trip, and Fabiola lies to Eleanor and Devi about what IVY she applied for. Devi is excited because she gets to spend time with Blair Quan, a senior when she was a freshman. Quan was a Sherman Oaks valedictorian and extracurricular beast who had gotten into Princeton early.
Ms. Warner almost spills the beans that Fabiola applied for Princeton by saying she should accompany her to the school but interrupts her by saying she will be her bodyguard on the train.
Later, Ms. Warner tells Fabiola that she needs to tell Devi the truth about applying to Princeton and visit the school to find out if it’s where she wants to go.
What happens when Devi meets Blair Quan?
When Devi arrives at Princeton, Blair talks up her time and takes her inside to show her around and into a party. However, when things start to kick into high gear at the party, Blair’s boss comes over to ask why she isn’t behind the bar and fires her, leading to her telling Devi she doesn’t go to school anymore.
With Eleanor’s audition with Giuallard going bad, Fabiola struggling with possibly going to Princeton, and Ben’s trip to Columbia going rough, they all decide to head out and get drinks together.
They arrive at Princeton and join Devi and Blair to party.
Who comes to Devi’s rescue at the Princeton party?
A kid tried to hit on Devi, and Blair shooed him off by saying she was in high school. Later, when the girls are dancing together at the party, he hits on her again, and this time he grabs her by the waist and picks her up. Ben stands up for her and pulls her away, but not before taking a punch in the face from the kid.
At home, Nalini is attempting to enjoy her time alone for the first time in over 17 years.
However, as Andres suggested, the house being so quiet isn’t as appetizing as she hoped. Andres shows up at the home cause he forgot his phone, and she asks him to stay.
After a great night together, Andres bought her a bird feeder and left a note saying, “So your nest doesn’t feel quite as empty.”
