Commissioner Hastings calls, freaking out at Dulcie about how they are handling the case. He tells them that he will give them whatever they need, but if they don’t have a suspect soon, he will send a new team of detectives. This leads to Detective Redcliffe making fun of the press after they get hit with a media suppression order.

Who did Jimmy call before dying?

Abby headed over to Jimmy’s house to find his phone to see who he had been in contact with before his death. After unlocking his phone, she discovers that he had called Vanessa over 30 times before ending up dead. Dulcie and Redcliffe confront her, but she mentions that he was obsessed with her and didn’t see Jimmy at all.

As the investigation continues, Mike Nugent becomes a person of interest regardless of the case leaning towards it being a woman. It’s revealed that he didn’t get tested when the rest of the men were in Deadloch because he took someone to the hospital. Dulcie and Redcliffe set off to search his place.

While Mike thought they were talking about his dresses, they mention the Pantoprazole found, which he said is his mother’s. Shortly after the interrogation, it’s revealed that his alibi checked out on the night of Rod’s murder which clears him of being the killer.
