The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Episode 6 Recap
We pick up in the aftermath of the Part 1 finale of Mickey being out cold in the parking garage when Izzy finds him and calls 911. He awakens to Maggie and Hayley telling him that despite the number of injuries, the doctors expect him to fully recover from the attack. Izzy comes in to check on him to talk about what happened.
Who stole the contract out of Mickey’s SUV?
Izzy told Mickey that she hadn’t slept since the attack because she discovered Ray had come up with the down payment for the studio by stealing the contract from Mickey’s SUV.
Lorna finds out that Alex Grant is an art collector and is looking for one piece of art to complete this collection of his. They hope to use this to figure out a way to get him out of hiding. Lorna and Cisco head to talk to Sam, who owes quite a bit of money to Mickey, and tell him if they do this thing for him, they will wipe his debt clean.
The plan to lure Alex out via the painting goes off exactly as they want with them being able to serve him papers to appear in court. The doctors released Mickey from the hospital, and he came home to Maggie and his daughter Hayley, who agreed to stay with him until he got back on his feet.
What’s the connection between Henry Dahl and Alex Grant?
Grant has a company that invested in entertainment projects. The president of the company is David Weber, who was the executive producer on Henry’s last podcast.
Mickey sits down with Lisa and Henry about the information, and he calls Henry out for what he did. Although he denied hiring anyone to beat him, he admitted to stealing the contract. Mickey ends the conversation by telling Henry that he will be working for him to get dirt on Alex Grant moving forward.
Upon returning home from the office, Maggie gives Mickey a talking-to about his continued wanting to be the hero and that she’s always scared that the next call will always be the last one. He says that he will try to be better, and he kisses her, leading to them sleeping together.

The following morning, Maggie informs Mickey that she is taking a job in San Diego with the DA’s office. Regardless of how much he pleads with her, she explains that they just aren’t good for each other, and this is what is best for her.
