Who is Michelle Rubio?
In 1978, Michelle Rubio married a man by the name of Virgil Riley Runnels Jr., or as the world knows him, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Dusty had two kids with his previous wife, Dustin Runnels (Professional Wrestler Goldust) and Kristen Ditto.
Michelle and Dusty welcome two kids into the world, Teil and Cody Rhodes. As a result of missing out on the early stages of his kid’s lives, Dusty retired from the world of professional wrestling to spend time with his family. Sadly, Michelle Rubio became a widow when Dusty passed away due to kidney failure.
Where is Michelle Rubio Now?
Although she continues to mourn the loss of her husband of over 30 years, Michelle is very supportive of her kids, including Cody Rhodes, who has gone on to have a successful career in professional wrestling. She doesn’t love the spotlight but can be found cheering on Cody at his matches and letting him know when she gets upset when things in the ring don’t go right.

The big thing that Rubio has done since Dusty’s passing is launching the Dusty Rhodes Foundation, which was established in 2022. The foundation was set up to help young children chase their goals in the world of sports. Outside of that, she spends time with her grandchildren.
Who is Dusty Rhodes’ daughter?
Michelle and Dusty had two kids, and their daughter was Teil Runnels. Teil was born in September 1982 and married Kevin Gergel on November 1, 2008.
