Escaping Twin Flames is a shocking documentary from Netflix that explores the controversial dating community Twin Flames Universe, which leans very heavily into the spiritual side of pairing singles together. The activities of the group have led to many accusing the operation of being a “cult” and using techniques that persuade members to spend excessive amounts of money on the teachings, allegedly encouraging practices that are tantamount to stalking. One member of Twin Flames, Stephanie Zimmermann, is featured in the Netflix series, with her mother speaking of how her daughter would cut herself off from her family, allegedly under the influence of the Twin Flames founders Jeff and Shaleia Divine.

Previous investigations into the affairs of the community. including a Prime Video documentary called Desperately Seeking Soulmate: Escaping Twin Flames Universe, spoke with relatives of people embroiled in the company’s affairs, raising concerns for their loved ones. It was an incredible and damning 2020 investigation by Vanity Fair that led to the Netflix documentary, and the article would expose the couple behind Twin Flames and bring them to the public spotlight.

Where is Stephanie from Twin Flames Today?

Stephanie is not seen in the series, and her family was not able to contact her, leading to the conclusion that Stephanie is still with Twin Flames. She is located in Switzerland with her husband Kiran Zimmerman, whom she met through Twin Flames.

Twin Flames Universe has a website, and you can find a testimonial on the site that recounts the meeting between Stephanie and Kiran.

The statement goes on to reveal that,

“Stephanie left the United States to join Kiran in Switzerland—not even the global quarantine could prevent their physical reunion! They were married both legally and in the Church of Union in November 2020, and since then, they’ve been working together to manifest their Heaven on Earth in Switzerland.”

The couple has a business account on Instagram where they promote the teachings of Twin Flame through their business called Make Your Rainbow. We’ve included a sample post and its insane caption below.

How did Stephanie and her husband Kiran become members of the Twin Flame Universe?

The mother of Stephanie, Louise Cole, would explain in the documentary that her daughter joined Twin Flames in 2018, and embarked on the courses involved with the program, including travel for classes, and paying for accommodation that totaled over five thousand dollars. In 2019, a letter from Stephanie declared that she would not be communicating with her family anymore.

The documentary makers would follow attempts by the family to reach Stephanie, and there are scenes of her twin sister Paula registering her concerns to the police department.

The film would reveal that Stephanie had been involved in some failed attempts at finding her soul mate. However, Stephanie would meet, and eventually marry, another member of Twin Flames called Kiran Zimmerman.

A YouTube video would show the wedding of Stephanie and Kiran in November 2020, and posts on social media would alert Stephanie’s family of the event.

Social media also provided more insight and a Facebook post announced that Kiran joined Twin Flames Universe in May 2019, and is referred to by the organization as a “Divine Masculine in a female body.”

A post would go on to state, “The spiritual reason Kiran incarnated into a female body in this lifetime is because that was the most compassionate way for him to meet Stephanie due to her history with relationships and where she is on her healing journey.”

According to the organization, you are either Divine Masculine or Divine Feminine and you can only be in a relationship with someone who is of the “opposite gender expression” in a Twin Flames Union.
