Peacock’s prison break movie Bosco tells the incredible true story of Quawntay “Bosco” Adams, jailed for thirty-five years for possession and intent to distribute marijuana, desperate to escape jail so he could see his newborn baby. The film tells of the ingenious machinations of Bosco, and how he pulled off his greatest of escapes, but he also turned his life around following his release and now works as a successful motivational speaker and author.

Where is Quawntay Adams (Bosco) now?

Quawntay Adams is currently a free man. He was released in 2020 after firing his legal representative and representing himself in court following legislative changes around marijuana use. He spent 16 years in prison and now spends his time traveling the world as a motivational speaker, running his non-profit, and spending time with his daughter.

A recent Instagram post found Bosco in Lagos, Nigeria:

Like his exact whereabouts, Bosco’s age is also not known widely known. However, a Change.org petition raising awareness around his case that was started in 2014 revealed he was 39 years old at the time. This would put him at 48/49 in 2024.

When was Quawntay Adams released from jail?

Quawntay was released from prison in 2020, the same year that he decided to fire his legal representation and represent himself.

What does Quawntay Adams do for work?

Despite serving so much time in jail, Bosco took every opportunity he could with both hands after his release. His escape stories had made national news, and with attention around his case rising thanks to the NatGeo docuseries Breakout, Bosco capitalized by writing a book about his life and experiences with the justice system.

Titled Chasin’ Freedum, the book, originally self-published, became a success (and the basis for the Peacock movie.) It also provided the name of Bosco’s non-profit, The Chasin’ Freedum Foundation, which provides help and support for prison inmates with non-violent drug offenses.

Adams would use his social media presence to offer motivational speeches, speak at conferences such as RISE, and he would go on to be a producer of Bosco. His work included raising money for the production of the film. These endeavors would help him move forward with his life in the most positive of ways.

Does Quawntay Adams have a reported net worth?

Quawntay Adams does not have a reported net worth.

Yahoo Finance reports that Adams would manage to raise millions of dollars to help produce the feature film. However it is not known what his net worth is at the time of writing, but we imagine that with the film’s release and his motivational speaking, he is probably doing quite well for himself.
