What will Palm Royale Episode 4 be about?
After finding out Norma’s estate is going to charity, Maxine’s last shot at the Dellacorte fortune is a conservatorship which puts her at legal odds against Robert.
Will Maxine tell Douglas about Norma’s estate?
Over the first few episodes — check out our recaps of Episode 1, Episode 2, and Episode 3 — we watch Maxine ride the high of her upcoming fortune, but Evelyn disclosed that her husband Douglas wouldn’t be in line to get the money. We all know that Maxine is frazzled, but will she tell Douglas? I predict she does because Maxine will need his help to secure the conservatorship.
Who will win conservatorship?
This will be interesting to watch unfold because Maxine vs. Robert has been a theme over the first few episodes. Robert has much at stake with his relationship with Norma, who provides a strong foundation for his life. But with Maxine testing the waters of taking everything away from him, I expect Robert to try and bring out the big guns against Maxine.
That said, I believe Maxine finds a way to get one step ahead and defeat Robert in court.
What will Linda do with the Rolodex?
This infamous Rolodex is filled with information that Evelyn is trying to get her hands on. Of course, we don’t know what’s on the Rolodex yet, but I expect it to be filled with secrets of the ladies of the town. If that is the case, it wouldn’t shock me to see Evelyn on the hunt for it because she would be able to control Palm Beach with Norma’s impending death.
We saw Linda get the Rolodex at the pool house with Robert, but what does she want with it? We know Evelyn is her stepmother, so there is investment there, but could she be hiding something and want to stay hidden? This Rolodex will undoubtedly influence what unfolds over the next few episodes.
Who directs Episode 4, “Maxine Rolls the Dice”?
Tate Taylor directed the first two episodes, and the showrunner/creator of Palm Royale, Abe Slyvia, got behind the camera for Episode 3 and returns for Episode 4. Slyvia is a veteran in the space, having written and directed shows like Nurse Jackie and Dead to Me. However, he is most notably known for writing for the Academy Award Nominated The Eyes of Tammy Faye, which won Jessica Chastain an Oscar.
