Miguel Fernández

Miguel Fernández joined Ready Steady Cut in the summer of 2022 and has been a regular contributor since.

Miguel has been working in entertainment websites since early 2020 in addition to his day job, collaborating as a writer and later editor at Star Wars News Net and Movie News Net. He’s also a regular contributor to The Illuminerdi.

In addition to being very knowledgeable in the geeky world of Star Wars and modern-day pop culture in general, he’s also very passionate about indie filmmaking and awards season. He has a very broad range of tastes (although he doesn’t really enjoy horror), and thus, he’s been writing about most aspects of the film and TV world for years. He’s also very interested in the business side, following the latest trends and who’s buying who or what.

Miguel has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Physics, a field in which he’s now doing his PhD.
