When the Phone Rings is clearly the kind of show that delights in keeping its audience guessing (and close to a health event).

It’s about time that Martian’s secrets and lies caught up to him, and Episode 7 of The Agency feels like the point of no return for him.

Episode 8, “The Book of Quinn”, does manage to progress the overarching story with surprisingly even-handed consideration for everyone, especially the many residents of Silo 18.

Creature Commandos has been at its best and worst based on the strength of its flashback sequences, and Episode 6, “Priyatel Skelet”, is no different in that regard.

I’ve already asked for more Eric Frankenstein in Creature Commandos, and Episode 5, “The Iron Pot”, grants that request. And thank goodness!

Episode 6, “Zero Friends Again”, comes on the back of by far the most exciting and surprising installment.

Episode 8 of Landman, “Clumsy, This Life”, is one of those outings in which very little of note happens but the show mysteriously doesn’t suffer as a result.

Things are heating up in When the Phone Rings, aren’t they? And once again it seems to be Hee-joo in the firing line more than anyone, right after ending the previous episode in quite the predicament.

The first half of Season 3’s two-part finale, ends up being really great despite being by far the most serialized that the show has been thus far.

You can feel When the Phone Rings approaching the end in Episode 9. We’ve reached the point where certain key questions start being answered while some mysteries linger unsolved.

“Spy For Sale” feels like The Agency operating at its peak. It hasn’t been a smooth ride to get to this point, and Episode 6 isn’t perfect either.

It only seems like two minutes since Juliette last ventured into the flooded bowels of Silo 17, and yet an extended high-pressure diving sequence is once again the highlight of Silo Season 2, Episode 7.

Episode 6 of Marvel’s What If…? Season 3, which teams Shang-Chi up with Kate Bishop in a Wild West setting, is my favorite of this run by quite a margin.
