Summary
Marianne Season 1, Episode 6, “Memories” is a calmer chapter, but its ending demonstrates what is to come, as the witch continues to raise havoc.

Inspector Ronan has done his homework. At the start of Episode 6, he sits with Emma and Seb and links her books to real-world tragedies. Coincidentally, certain events occurred straight after the publication launched. Emma (Victoire Du Bois) feels a measure of guilt, believing she is causing it. Ronan tells Emma not to write anymore, but Seby said she should write a story where Marianne died.
The Inspector, Emma and Seby hatch a plan to destroy Marianne, and Emma’s friends show up to help. They are going to contact Marianne. It almost felt like IT, with the adults returning years later to destroy evil.
They start the séance led by Ronan, but despite the efforts, they feel it doesn’t work. Ronan suggests staying the night and trying again.
Meanwhile, in the hospital, Emma’s father keeps waking up. He sees Camille has been possessed. While receiving treatment, Camille sneaks up behind a nurse, ready to kill her, but the séance stops her.
With the night progressing, Aurore notices that the dog has been freed, and alerts the others. The Inspector ends up speaking to Marianne, and as the group approaches him, he has been possessed. Marianne Season 1, Episode 6, “Memories” ends with the witch explaining that they will all end up like the inspector. At this moment, Inspector Ronan puts the gun to his head and kills himself. Marianne is not going to go away quickly.
