Summary
Another gripping episode from Suspicion. While it was evident that none of the suspects would be inside the van, it was exciting to watch nonetheless. The death at the end of the episode is sure to put the five suspects in some bother, but just how much trouble will they face?

Suspicion season 1, episode 7 recap
In Gloucestershire, England, Eric Cresswell gets chased by an unknown individual. Before we see who is chasing him, Eric manages to flag down the police and says someone is trying to kill him. Eight hours later. Vanessa and Scott discuss that there were rumours about Eric’s professional conduct over inappropriate relations with young girls. In New York, Tara and Eddie learn that they are front-page news. When Aadesh spots Eddie going inside a restaurant, he follows him into the toilet. Unaware that Aadesh is close behind, Eddie makes contact with Vanessa. Aadesh overhears!
Eddie lies to Aadesh and says that he is working undercover for Katherine Newman. Aadesh takes Eddie’s phone, and later, when Sean searches him and finds the phone, Aadesh lies and claims he got the phone at the airport. Even so, Sean runs over the phone. Owen interrupts Katherine and asks her about Martin. It’s enough to create suspicion, and Katherine begins to quiz Martin. He, however, claims there is nothing to worry about.
The five suspects head to a warehouse, a location that Scott and Vanessa believe could be the perfect place to hide someone. Katherine goes against Martin’s advice and organises an interview with Nancy. In the warehouse, Natalie, Eddie, Aadesh, and Tara are sitting ducks as armed men storm inside. Sean kills the men, takes one of their phones, and messages “All clear. Tilson too”. Sean informs the other suspects that he can take them to Martin. The suspects are followed by the FBI as they park outside FBI headquarters. Armed officers raid the van, and the suspects are nowhere in sight. Instead, the suspects have gone to the Park Medicine Hotel to meet Martin.
The ending
Katherine’s interview begins, and it airs on TV. In the interview, Nancy reveals that Eric made scientific predictions that could have saved lives, but Katherine buried the report. The interview is a disaster for Katherine, and her company faces ruin. As for the suspects, Aadesh gains access to the hotel’s CCTV, whilst Katherine demands to know what Martin’s connection is to the suspects. He denies having one, although she doesn’t believe him.
Vanessa and Scott prepare to question Eric as Katherine watches her reputation fall into tatters. In the hotel, in suite 1409 to be exact, when CCTV gets disabled, the suspects kidnap Martin. The five of them question Martin, and when asked why this is happening, Martin states that “at least” one of them knows where Leo is. The seventh comes to a close after Natalie shoots Martin dead.
