Summary

Despite some mishaps along the way, Partner Track ends positively. And the betrayal at the end of the finale makes you wish there were more episodes to come instantly. Overall, a good episode with a sound journey with some dramatic bumps along the way.

In Partner Track Season 1 Episode 10, Ingrid continues to mourn not making partner. So, Jeff comes to visit her. He tells her that he has officially moved out of the hotel and bought his own place. With Christmas around the corner (at least for the characters), there’s a strong Christmassy feel to the episode from the get-go. When Rachel goes to work, Wanda is there, and she’s made a huge turnaround. Although, as she’s been pictured with a man in a goose costume, she needs Rachel’s help.

Partner Track Season 1 Episode 10 Recap

Ingrid and Tyler finally come face-to-face after their fallout. They bring each other up to date with their lives, and it’s as though they never fell out! Rachel tries to help Wanda’s case. As a result, she winds up offering her blackmailer 50k so he can follow his dreams and take flying lessons. Wanting to make her own mark, she turns to NewLeaf to hold a shareholders coup so they can all take majority. So far, they have 30%, meaning they “only have” 20.1% to go. Before long, Rachel and Tyler are back into the fold as they help their “best friend”.

Despite Justin dumping Rachel in the last episode, the expression on Rachel’s face suggests she’s not giving up on him just yet. Shortly afterward, Ingrid gains the majority. But as Z tells her, that’s the easy part. Later on in the episode, Ingrid and Z try to convince his father to come onto their side. Later, whilst at the gym, Tyler eyes someone up. And in the next scene, it cuts to them having sex. So it seems he has gotten over his boyfriend fairly quickly.

Jeff informs Ingrid that Victoria will be attending the meeting. And that’s because anyone who has over 2% in shares will need to attend the meeting in person. Huge problem for Ingrid. So, she begs Rachel to try and get Wanda to come to the meeting. Ingrid manages to delay the meeting by ensuring that the last month’s minutes are read out. The plan works, and Wanda is able to get to the meeting in time. And because of that, there’s a vote of no confidence for the chairman of the board, Ted. Very dramatic.

Partner Track Season 1 Ending Explained

Sure enough, many follow suit, and there’s a majority vote against Ted. And Franklin becomes the new chairman. Lesson learned, do not mess with Ingrid. Whilst Ingrid, Rachel, and Tyler never made partners, they, sure enough, made successes of themselves. But the drama isn’t over. Ted tries to ruin Ingrid. But Z is ready to stand beside her, and he threatens Ted to stop any plans of revenge he has against Ingrid. But the biggest shock comes at the end. Jeff had told Ted about Ingrid’s arrest, likely as a way to ensure he would make partner and she wouldn’t.
