Summary
The more time that we spend with the characters, the better the show becomes. It might not have had the most thrilling of starts, but it’s sure enough becoming one of the most intriguing shows of the year.
After Stephen’s bombshell and Lucy is now in the know about Macy’s death, there could be some sticky situations around the corner for Drew in Tell Me Lies episode 7. It’s March 2008, and Evan makes a swift exit from his room as Stephen and Lucy are in bed together.
He goes to his family’s place and interacts with a rude woman who is concerned about why he is at the property. Shortly afterward, Evan invites his friends to chill at the place to celebrate his birthday.
After Drew jumps into the pool, Lucy snaps at him for getting water into everyone’s drink. Wrigley proves to be too much for everyone by constantly getting naked and breaking a glass table.
Lucy struggles with the knowledge that Drew is responsible for Macy’s death. She tells Stephen that she can’t bear seeing Drew living his life whilst Macy is dead. She tells Stephen that they should go to Macy’s parents, tell them what happened, and let them decide whether to go to the authorities.
However, Stephen is against the idea as he fears it could ruin his life. Lucy continues to make her issues with Drew clear towards Wrigley. When Wrigley tells Stephen about Lucy’s issue, Stephen avoids the subject.
Whilst out sailing, Drew asks if Lucy is mad with him. When Stephen responds, he slips up about Pippa knowing the truth about the accident. Stephen tells Drew not to trust Wrigley anymore as he can’t keep his mouth shut. (It’s not as though Stephen has done the same thing with Lucy).
When the gang play I Have Never, Pippa learns that Wrigley has cheated on everyone else before her; and Lucy makes a rule that Bree and Evan have to kiss during the game. Evan gets annoyed, and he leaves the game in a mood. Pippa checks up on Lucy; Lucy tells her that she shouldn’t have allowed Macy to go to the party on her own.

As they have a heart-to-heart, a firework goes off. As everyone goes outside, Evan is bleeding, and he tells everyone to f**k off. He adds that they’re all ars*holes, and none of them are even friends.
The following morning, Evan is missing. Bree is the first to realize this. Soon, all of them are searching for him, and Bree finds him slumped against a tree trunk. He tells Bree that he must have fallen whilst he was trying to make his way back to campus. Evan adds that he feels so much pressure because everyone expects him to be so nice. After the gang gives Evan a birthday cake, Bree and Evan have sex.
As everyone sleeps, Pippa watches as Stephen purposely drops Bree’s camera into the swimming pool. When Bree finds the camera, Stephen acts all surprised that the camera is damaged. As everyone returns home, Bree and Evan seem all loved up.
