Summary
The sixth episode of Season 2 was a strong bounce-back for Sex Lives as Amrit Kaur and Reneé Rapp continue to carry the season to greater heights.

The Sex Lives of College Girls season 2, episode 5, was challenging for our ladies. But, most importantly, the episode came to a close with Leighton (Reneé Rapp) almost getting hit by a car which led to someone getting out that she has a keen eye for now. Will she find out who the girl is? What obstacles stand in the way of the other girls? Let’s dive in.
The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2, episode 6 recap
Bela storms into the dorm to tell the ladies that Dan O’Connell is coming to perform at Essex. She mentions getting to be his student liaison. The ladies actually know who O’Connell is, which shocks Bela, but she is on cloud nine because if she can impress him, he might give her a gig on his show. Jackson texts Kimberly to check in on her, causing the lady’s ears to perk up. They all think they are going to bone, and Leighton says, “you’ve been Med-zoned.” (where he sees her as someone he is taking care of).
Moments later, Jackson walks in to give her her pads, says, “I’ll never forget how sick you were,” and walks out. Leighton has a massive smile on her face for being right. Whitney follows with, and I take it back, delete his number, and you are done.
In Biochem class, the teacher makes them team up in pairs for a class project. Whitney gets paired with a noticeably absent Bela and the smart kid in class with whom Whitney has spoken several times. He comes up to her and says that he will do all the work and get them an A. I can see this leading to disaster between these two very soon (or they will be hooking up).
Leighton chases down Willow to ask her a favor. First, she wants to know if she knows the hot girl she ran into in the parking lot. After Leighton shows her the pictures, her name is Tatum, and plays on the tennis team. Next, Leighton wonders if Willow can introduce the duo to each other, and Willow says she would if Leighton buys her a jacket, to which she agrees.
Roger, the manager of Sips, has been fired. He is very upset and wants the crew to get him a goodbye gift. Next, Bela is at the airport waiting for Dan O’Connell. As she waits, she is on the phone with Eric breaking down what she has planned for their hour’s drive to have her realize how funny she is. Eric attempts to tell her just to be herself, which he knows is impossible. While in the car, it doesn’t go as planned, as Dan talks to his agent the entire time.
On the tennis court, Tatum isn’t noticing anything Leighton is doing, so she tries to wing it after they go for a water break. Sadly, it goes horrendously, and Leighton isn’t sure how to handle the rejection. At BioChem, Whitney brought donuts and coffee to her project mate, which led to her pouring coffee all over the project and further pushing his narrative of flying solo in his direction.
Bela comes clean to Dan about how nervous she is being around him. He actually comforts her by saying that he was in her shoes once because Conan did a show, and he was dripping with sweat. Shortly after, he asks her for advice on what is currently happening at Essex. Bela helps him and follows by talking about being a big fan of his show and would love to intern sometime. Dan tells her to send the resume over, and they will have a look at it. A decisive moment for Bela and a strong episode for Amrit Kaur, who continues to thrive in the role this season.
The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2, episode 6 ending
At the party, Eric introduces himself to Dan and hits it off with him leading to Dan putting his contact information in his phone. Bela gets upset because she feels like he is stepping in her lane after all the hard work she has done since Dan arrived in town. Eric reminds her that this was his dream too. Back to the BioChem lap where Whitney and her project partner got a problem wrong, which ended up in her favor because he admitted that the project would’ve been wrong without her. And as I thought, he took off his shirt, and Whitney saw his muscled arms and smiled.
Back at the party, Leighton and Kimberly are mucking it up when Tatum arrives, leading her to freak out. However, we see Leighton run into Tatum and kind of put her in her place a little. After that, Tatum puts her number in Leighton’s phone. Then, Jackson arrives at the party, and Kimberly confronts him and says she is ready for ANYTHING. Well, that leads to the pair in his bedroom. Finally, back at BioChem lab, he catches Whitney staring at his arms and saying it is alright. While the episode closes, Leighton tells Bela she must take every opportunity to make him remember her. So she heads to his hotel room and puts it on him.
