What is Gangs of Lagos about?
The movie follows a group of friends growing up in the Isale Eko area of Lagos who have been involved in crime and violence on the streets.
When Obalola and his friends steal a bag from a woman, his presence is requested by the leader of the street, who was impressed by Obalola’s confidence.
Gang leader Nino takes Obalola under his wing and tries to mold him into becoming a better person.
However, Nino dies, and the friends are now under the scrutiny of the more ruthless gang lord Kazeem, and events start to escalate out of control.
Who is the character Terrible in Gangs of Lagos?
Spoilers ahead – Terrible is a character in the story that has a small but pivotal role in the events of the film. When Panama is murdered, it is revealed that Kazeem ordered Terrible to murder him, and if he didn’t do this, his daughter was to be kidnapped. Terrible is himself kidnapped by Oba and his team, and they make him tell them where they can find Kazeem.
Terrible is killed after begging for his life and being ready to tell them everything he knew.
