This Earth Day, Disney+ are celebrating with the release of two features celebrating the world of tigers. With an incredible track record for documentary filmmaking, this double-drop promises to bring the animals to life more so than ever before.
Tiger will be narrated by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and is the culmination of 1500 days of filming. Tigers on the Rise is a companion film narrated by the talented Blair Underwood, focusing on how successful conservation efforts have allowed tigers to recent venture beyond forest reserves and reclaim their old territories.
Eclipse Across America Will Celebrate the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8

On April 8, 2024, there will be a total solar eclipse, where the moon will completely block the sun for the last time until 2044. This cosmic phenomenon will be visible to millions of people, and in celebration of it, Disney are holding a special live event titled Eclipse Across America.
The live special will begin at 2:00 p.m. EDT on ABC, ABC News Live, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, Disney+, and Hulu as well as network social media platforms, and be anchored by David Muir and Linsey Davis.

Arriving on Earth Day like Tiger and Tigers on the Rise, NatGeo documentary Secrets of the Octopus is sneaking under the radar a little bit. But if a creature is interesting enough to keep secrets, well… people are going to want to pay attention.
Plus, there’s precedent for this. When Netflix dropped its documentary My Octopus Teacher, it won an Oscar. Just saying.
