He tells Maggie that when she gets out they will go to the Grand Canyon but she gets frustrated, saying she won’t be out for 40 years. Maggie suggests an open marriage so they can be intimate with people who are accessible. Mark is not liking the suggestion, learning she is bisexual. He asks Maggie why she didn’t just ask him for a divorce but she says marriage is not just about sexual exclusivity, it’s about a declaration of love and having each other’s backs. They kiss properly and have sex.
