2. A Girl and an Astronaut (2023 – )
This Sci-Fi romance from Poland dropped on Netflix in February 2023 and has an interesting take on the love triangle trope. A married couple in their 50s comes face to face with the young man she was in love with before marrying her husband.
Being stuck in space for three decades means he looks exactly as she remembers him.
Despite its interesting premise, the show failed to impress audiences or critics.
Official Premise: An astronaut’s return after a 30-year disappearance rekindles a lost love and sparks interest from a corporation determined to learn why he hasn’t aged.

1. Make My Day (2023 – )
This Netflix original anime series was initially meant to come out as a movie. But the streamer soon greenlit a full 8-episode series.
Despite the show receiving relatively low audience scores, critical reviews were positive thanks to the exciting story and character development.
Official Premise: Prisoners mine an energy-rich ore on a snowy, ice-covered planet, where a mysterious creature attacks them.
