Rejoice, streamers — I’ve compiled your complete guide to Netflix in June 2024, including all of the new original and licensed releases coming to the platform. Mark your calenders, and bookmark this page for the latest, since it’ll be updated over the next few weeks.

Highlights of the Month

Sweet Tooth Season 3 | June 6

The final season of Netflix’s high-profile adaptation of the DC Comics series is undoubtedly one of the marquee Netflix releases of the month.

The third season, which will run for eight episodes like the previous two, sees Gus, Jepperd, Wendy, and Bear setting out for icy Alaska in search of Gus’ mother, Birdie, after the Season 2 finale.

High stakes, high octane, high everything, the full weight of Netflix’s marketing might is behind this one, so hopefully it’ll be a poignant send-off for fans of the show who have stuck with it over the last few years.

A Family Affair | June 28

This original romantic comedy doesn’t have the most original premise, but nobody wants that from a rom-com, do they? The massive mainstream appeal of the genre should make this a target for couples settling into a movie night.

And the cast! Joey King, Nicole Kidman, and Zac Efron top the bill, with King’s Zara discovering that her former boss (Efron) is dating her mother (Kidman). Sounds like a good time for all involved.

A Big Month For Anime Fans

Anime fans will be well served by Netflix in June, since there are some seriously high-profile releases to look forward to, including a major crossover.

There isn’t an official release date yet, but new episodes of The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will air this month, constituting Part 2 of Season 1. The third season of Black Clover also debuts on June 1. Last year, Netflix released an original movie titled Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, just in case you missed that.

One of the two big hitters this month though is the eagerly anticipated crossover between Baki Hanma and Kengan Ashura. Both series are based around heavily muscled martial arts duking it out for supremacy, so it totally makes sense that these two would meet in the middle. Both shows also have a substantial fanbase, so this could be a massive hit for the platform.

Finally, Rising Impact debuts on June 22. This eagerly anticipated adaptation of the iconic manga will be released in two parts.

K-Drama Picks of the Month

Hierarchy | June 7

As if Korean Drama wasn’t popular enough, Hierarchy is also in the scandalous teen drama subgenre, so there’s every chance that this will be a gigantic hit when it debuts on June 7.

Set in Jooshin High School, 0.01% of students control law and order, but a transfer student throws the status quo into disarray.

Also worth keeping an eye on this month K-Drama-wise are Miss Night and Day, airing on June 13, and The Whirlwind airing on June 28. The latter is a legal drama, another popular genre, so this could be a hit too.

Sleeper Pick of the Month

Kubra Season 2 | June 6

The first season of the Turkish original drama Kubra was a low-key hit for Netflix, and rightly so, since it was a compelling exploration of faith, culture, technology, and the notion of a messiah.

The second season will pick up after the shocking revelations of the Season 1 finale, which wildly recontextualized everything we thought we understood about the narrative. Keep a close eye on this one, folks.
