Amanda Guarragi

Amanda Guarragi joined Ready Steady Cut as an Entertainment Writer in June 2022. She is a Toronto-based film critic who has covered the Toronto International Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival, the Austin Film Festival, and HorrorFest International. She has been writing consistently for over eight years.

Amanda also launched her website and YouTube channel, Candid Cinema, where she shares her expert opinions on entertainment and provides commentary on pop culture.

She is part of the NAFCA and the Cinemania World Podcast team. Movies will always be her first love, but in 2023, Amanda has become a reader working for Maude’s Book Club. Her favorite director is Martin Scorsese, and her favorite film is The Departed.

She will watch everything and is always looking forward to the award season.
